Teaching others and helping others is a great way to help out our community and impact the way we can help others. You will create a learning pathway a specific topic with fellow classmates either from either Aubrey Bend or Overland Trail Middle Schools. Each of you is responsible for one of the areas of your Group Topic.
Each person will create: Help Document(s), Video Tutorial, Survey and a portion of the infographic for your area. You will all help put together the infographic together, plus help create the data/ graph portion. Example: Cloud Management: One of you will take Dropbox, Delicious, Photobucket, Picasa

Each of you will be responsible for the following:
Step-by-step written instructions that can be used by your students as they go through the process of learning. This will need to have screen shots, arrows and textboxes. Use Microsoft Word and then we will save as a PDF file.
Infographic explaining your topic and how it can be a beneficial learning topic. Info graphic that will be a visual representation of what your student will be learning and how the skills learned will be beneficial to them. You will each create a portion of the Group Topic
Video tutorials for each of the separate items that need to be learned or options that can be explored. Videos are very helpful, but try to keep them short and limited to performing a certain action or learning a specific concept.Videos that cover the exact skills you will be teaching. This will take a few tries and you will need to listen to it before you decide that you are done. Listen for sound quality and you say exactly what you want to say. Make your tutorials short so they only cover one step at a time. This way whoever may watch them can choose the sections they need, rather than going over the whole lesson.
A survey to help learn alter any of your work so that we have the best possible product we can have and it will also serve as a follow up with results on the impact your creations will have on the learner’s life.Create a survey after you taught your skills to help in evaluating your lesson. Ask questions about your lessons and performance as an instructor. This way you can improve and get the best possible lesson for the next time.
Create a Wiki Page within our Teckie Tutor Unit for your Topic. The purpose of Wiki Page is for displaying all of the information created over the given topic.A Page will hold all of the documents and files that you have created. This will serve as a resource for the individuals that you have taught. You will only have permission to edit your page.
